2. पररभार्ााः इस जवजियम में िब्िों की पररभार्ा और उिका अथा तथा पिों के पििाम का अथ ा वही होगा िैसादक
खाद्य जिगम अजधजियम,1964 तथा भारतीय खाद्य जिगम (कमाचारीवृन्ि) जवजियम, 1971 में दिया गया ह।ै

No. EP.1(2)/2021.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 45 of Food Corporations Act, 1964
(37 of 1964) and with the previous sanction of the Central Government, the Food Corporation of India hereby makes
the following Regulations further to amend the Food Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations, 1971 namely:-
1. Short Title and Commencement:
(i) These Regulations shall be called the Food Corporation of India (Staff) (First Amendment)
Regulations, 2022.
(ii) These shall come into force from the date of Notification in the Official Gazette.
2. Definitions: The definition and meaning of the words and designation of posts in this Regulation shall have
the same meaning as contained in the Food Corporations Act, 1964 and the Food Corporation of India (Staff)
Regulations, 1971.
3. The following amendments are made in Food Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations, 1971
(Appendix-I):
PART- I SPECIAL POSTS
(i) The words appearing in heading of Column 7 are replaced with the following:
Deputation from AIS / Central Services / PSEs or through lateral entry from Private Sector on
contractual basis for a period of 3 years extendable up to 5 years (depending upon performance).
Qualifications & experience, if any.
(ii) The words appearing in Column 4 in respect of serial number 1$, 1(A$), 2, 4$, 5$ and 6$ are
replaced with the following:
Promotion / Transfer on deputation, through lateral entry. To be determined by Chairman on each
occasion. Ratio of deputationist / lateral entry to internal candidates (Promote) will be 50:50

Experience
25 years’ experience in Finance/Accounts/Audit in an organization of repute.

Deputation is to be effected by taking officers at SAG level from AIS/ Central Services. -
Holding anologus posts or two years regular service in IDA pay scale of Rs.120000-280000
(E-8) or four years regular service in IDA pay scale of Rs.100000-260000 (E-7) in case of PSEs. 57
In case of lateral entry;
Minimum CTC of RS.35 lakhs per annum during the previous two financial years excluding the
year of advertisement as per Form 16/ ITR (Salary Income) or pay slip in absence of Form 16 or
ITR. 50-55
Qualification
Essential: Post Graduation in any discipline
Desirable: MBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Management from a Recognized University or
Institute.
Experience
25 years’ experience in warehousing and / or logistics in managerial capacity.
Preference will be given for experience in the field of food industry.
5$ In case of transfer on deputation basis;
Deputation is to be effected by taking officers at SAG level from AIS/ Central Services. -
Holding anologus posts or two years regular service in IDA pay scale of Rs.120000-280000
(E-8) or four years regular service in IDA pay scale of Rs.100000-260000 (E-7) in case of PSEs. 57

equivalent

knowledge of Rice Mills, Food Processing Industries, preparation of designs and specifications,
maintenance and operation of mechanical handling equipment at ports / godowns.
Experience
25 years’ experience of Civil / Electrical / Mechanical engineering works
6$ In case of transfer on deputation basis;
Deputation is to be effected by taking officers at SAG level from AIS/ Central Services. -
Holding anologus posts or two years regular service in IDA pay scale of Rs.120000-280000
