अिधिनयम,1964 तथा भारतीय खा(cid:8) िनगम (कम(cid:29)चारीवृ$द) िविनयम, 1971 म(cid:24) (cid:1)दया गया ह।ै

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 5th June 2018

No. EP-36(1)2017:—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 45 of Food Corporations Act,
1964 (37 of 1964) and with the previous sanction of the Central Government, the Food Corporation of India
hereby makes the following Regulations further to amend the Food Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations,
1971 namely:-
1. Short Title and Commencement:
(i) These Regulations shall be called the Food Corporation of India (Staff) (Second Amendment)
Regulations, 2018.
(ii) These shall come into force from the date of Notification in the Official Gazette.
2. Definitions: The definition and meaning of the words and designation of posts in this Regulations
shall have the same meaning as contained in the Food Corporations Act, 1964 and the Food Corporation of
India (Staff) Regulations, 1971.
3. In FCI (Staff) Regulations 1971 -
Regulation 74 of the FCI (Staff) Regulations may be formally amended by incorporating a new Sub
Regulation 74(5) after existing Regulation 74(4) as under:
(5) “No application for Review preferred under these Regulations shall be entertained unless such
application for Review is preferred within a period of forty-five days from the date on which a copy of
the Order sought to be reviewed is delivered to the Applicant;
Provided that the Reviewing Authority may entertain the Review after the expiry of the said period if it
is satisfied that the Applicant has sufficient cause for not preferring the Review in time.”
