In exercise of the powers conferred by section 55 of the National Housing Bank Act, 1987 53 of 1987, the Board, with the previous approval of the Central Government, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the National Housing Bank

1. (1) इन जवजनयमों को राष्ट्रीय आवास बैंक (अजधकारी) सेवा (सिं ोधन) जवजनयम, 2025 कहा िा सकता ह।ै
(2) ये आजधकाररक रािपत्र म ेंप्रकािन की जतजथ स ेलाग ूहोंगे।
2. राष्ट्रीय आवास बैंक (अजधकारी) सेवा जवजनयम, 1997 के जवजनयम 14 के उप-जवजनयम (2) म,ें खंड (ग) को खडं (ग) (i) के रूप
म ेंपुनःसंखयांदकत दकया िाएगा और इस प्रकार पुनःसंखयांदकत उप-खंड (i) के पश्चात् और प्रथम परंतुक के पूव,व जनम्नजलजखत उप-
खंड अंतःस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, यथा:
“ (ii) उप-खडं (i) पर प्रजतकूल प्रभाव डाले जबना, कोई कमी सक्षम प्राजधकारी को जलजखत में तीन महीने का नोरिस िेने के पश्चात ्
स्ट्वेच्छा स े सेवाजनवृत्त हो सकता ह,ै बिते दक उसने बीस वर्व का सेवाकाल पूणव कर जलया हो, यदि वह राष्ट्रीय आवास बैंक
(कमवचारी) पिें न जवजनयम, 2003 स े िाजसत नहीं ह,ै और यदि वह राष्ट्रीय आवास बैंक (कमवचारी) पिें न जवजनयम, 2003 द्वारा
िाजसत ह,ै तो उसन े राष्ट्रीय आवास बैंक (कमवचारी) पेंिन जवजनयम, 2003 म ें पररभाजर्त बीस वर्व की अहकव सेवा परू ी कर
ली हो।

New Delhi, the 27th October, 2025
No. G.S.R. HO/HRMD/DOC/2025/03246.___In exercise of the powers conferred by section 55 of the National
Housing Bank Act, 1987 (53 of 1987), the Board, with the previous approval of the Central Government, hereby makes the
following regulations further to amend the National Housing Bank (Officers’) Service Regulations, 1997, namely: -
1. (1) These regulations may be called the National Housing Bank (Officers’) Service (Amendment) Regulations, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the National Housing Bank (Officers’) Service Regulations, 1997, in regulation 14, in sub-regulation (2), clause (c) shall
be renumbered as clause (c) (i) and after sub-clause (i) as so renumbered and before the first proviso, the following sub-clause
shall be inserted, namely: -
“ (ii) Without prejudice to sub-clause (i), an employee may voluntarily retire after giving to the Competent Authority three
months' notice in writing provided he has completed twenty years of service if he is not governed by the National Housing Bank
(Employees’) Pension Regulations, 2003, and twenty years of qualifying service as defined in the National Housing Bank
(Employees’) Pension Regulations, 2003, if he is governed by the National Housing Bank (Employees’) Pension
Regulations, 2003.”.

12th September, 2007 and No. G.S.R. NHB/SER/01/2014, dated the 23rd May, 2014.]
