2020 ह ै।
(2) य ेरािपत्र में उनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रिृत्त होंग े।
2. दरू संचार अस्ट्थायी सेिा जनलंबन (लोक आपात या लोक सरु क्षा) जनयम, 2017 के जनयम 2 के उपजनयम (2) के पश् चात ्
जनम्नजलजखत उपजनयम अंत:स्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथाात् :--
“(2क) उपजनयम (1) के अधीन सक्षम प्राजधकारी द्वारा पाररत दकया गया जनलंबन आदेि पंरह ददिस से अजधक के
जलए प्रचालन म ेंनहीं रहगे ा ।”

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 10th November, 2020
G.S.R. 694(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Indian Telegraph Act,
1885 (13 of 1885), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Temporary
Suspension of Telecom Services (Public Emergency or Public Safety) Rules, 2017, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Temporary Suspension of Telecom Services
(Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Temporary Suspension of Telecom Services (Public Emergency or Public Safety) Rules,
2017, in rule 2, after sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be inserted, namely:-
“(2A) The suspension order issued by the competent authority under sub-rule (1) shall not be in operation
for more than fifteen days.”
