Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi, hereby makes the following rules to amend the Delhi Home Guards Rules, 1959, namely :— 1. Short title and commencement – (1) These rules may be called the Delhi Home Guards (2nd Amendment) Rules, 2021. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Delhi Gazette. 2. Amendment of rule 8 – In the Delhi Home Guard Rules, 1959, the eighth proviso of Rule 8 shall be substituted namely: — “provided also that, in order to meet short term requirements of Home Guard Volunteers in emergent situation, Government may allow appointment of Home Guard Volunteers from the existing pool of Ex-Home Guard Volunteers only, who are otherwise fit to be enrolled as per existing criteria.” By Order and in the Name of the Lt. Notification No.F.1/02/2019/HG/1413-1425, dated 27/03/2020. 3. Notification No.F.1/28/2019/HG/5840-5852, dated 03.10.2019. 4. Notification No.F.1/2/2019/HG/1016-1028, dated 27.02.2019.
