Delhi, the 26th August, 2019
F. No. 7/55/L&B/LA/2018/5172.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the Right
to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Social Impact,
Assessment and Consent) Rules, 2014, read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affair’s notification
number S.O. 2740(E) dated the 21st October, 2014 , the Lieutenant Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi, is
pleased to assign the School of Human Ecology, Ambedkar University, Kashmere Gate Campus, Lothian Road,
Kashmere Gate, Delhi -110006 which was identified as Social Impact Assessment Unit vide Notification
No. F8/2/9/2015/L&B/LA/2373 dated the 13th June,2017 to carry out Social Impact Assessment Study and to prepare
Social Impact Assessment Report for acquisition of land which the Public Works Department, Government of National
Capital Territory of Delhi intends to acquire for public purpose of construction of approach road/path to Cremation
Ground at Bakkarwala village, New Delhi.
The School of Human Ecology, Ambedkar University, Kashmere Gate Campus, Lothian Road, Kashmere
Gate, Delhi -110006 shall carry out the Social Impact Assessment Study as per the provisions of the Right to Fair
Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 within a period of six
months from the date of issue of this notification.
