G.S.R. 887(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 124, read with
sub-section (1) of Section 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central Government
hereby approves the Tuticorin Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment
Regulations, 2015 made by the Board of Trustees for the Port of V.O.Chidambaranar further to amend the
Tuticorin Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations,2008 and as set out in.
the Schedule annexed to this Notification.
2. The said Amendment Regulations shall come into force on the date of publication of this
notification in the Official Gazette.

In exercise of powers conferred under Section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act,1963,(38 of 1963), the

amend the Tuticorin Port “Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2008,
namely:— .
-1. Short title and commencement:
(i) These Regulations may be called the Tuticorin Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority
and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2015.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of publication of the approval of the Central
Government as required under the provisions of Section 124 and 132 of Major Port Trusts
Act, 1963 in the Gazette of India.
2. Inthe Tuticorin Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2008.
