The said regulations as approved shall come into force on the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette. SCHEDULE In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Board of Trustees of the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2011, namely:- 1. (1) These regulations may be called the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust Employees (Recruitment Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2020. (2) They shall come into force from the date of publication of the approval thereto by the Central Government in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2011, in the Schedule,- (i) under the heading “RECRUITMENT RULES FOR CLASS-I POSTS OF GENERAL ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT (MAIN ADMN.) IN JAWAHARLAL NEHRU PORT TRUST”, against serial number 4 relating to the post of Chief Manager (Admn.) & Secy.,- (I) in column 5, for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- “Rs.100000—260000 /-( the pay scale will be elevated to the scale of pay of Rs. 120000—280000/- after three years regular service with the approval of Central Government)”;
