G.S.R. 715(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 124, read with
sub-section (1) of section 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central Government
hereby approves the Mormugao Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment
Regulations, 2018 made by the Board of Trustees for the Port of Mormugao as set out in the Schedule
annexed to this notification.
2. The said regulations shall come into force on the date of publication of this notification in the Official
Gazette.

Mormugao Port Trust
Mormugao Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment
Regulations, 2018.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the
Board of Trustees of the Port of Mormugao hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the
Mormugao Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2010, namely:-
1. (1) These Regulations may be called the Mormugao Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority
and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of publication of the approval of the Central Government
as required under the provisions of sections 124 and 132 of the said Act in the Gazette of India.
2. In the Mormugao Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations,
2010, in the Schedule annexed to these regulations, under the heading ‘RECRUITMENT RULES
FOR CLASS-I POSTS OF EDP WING IN PLANNING AND RESEARCH DIVISION UNDER
FINANCE DEPARTMENT /MoPT,-
(i) against Sr. No.1, relating to the post of Assistant Director (EDP), for the entries under column
(9), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“(a) No
(b) Yes, but in the case of incumbents holding the post of Assistant Manager (EDP) or
Class-III posts on regular basis in the pay scale of Rs. 6170-11975 in the Planning and
Research Division as on 4th June, 2010, having bachelor’s degree in any discipline and
postgraduate degree or postgraduate diploma in computer applications or computer
science or information technology from a recognised University or institution will

(ii) against Sr. No. 2, relating to the post of Deputy Director (EDP), for the entries under column

column (9), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
