Chidambaranar Port Trust hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Tuticorin Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2008, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement—(1) These Regulations may be called the Tuticorin Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2018; (2) They shall come into force on the date of publication of the approval of the Central Government as required under the provisions of section 124 and 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 in the Official Gazette. 2. Secy.6 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] SCHEDULE DEENDAYAL PORT TRUST Kandla Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2018 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Board of Trustees of Deendayal Port Trust hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Kandla Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2009, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement:- (1) These Regulations may be called the Kandla Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2018; (2) They shall come into force on the date of publication of the approval of the Central Government as required under the provisions of section 124 and 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Kandla Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2009, for regulation 9 the following regulation shall be substituted, namely:- 9.“Eligibility of Existing Employees for direct recruitment- When the posts required to be filled by direct recruitment are advertised, employees of the Board of any Major Port Trust possessing the prescribed qualifications and experience may also apply: Provided that the age limit in such cases shall not exceed fifty five years”.
