“(क) Jम सं. 43 म (cid:10) मुLय िच(cid:4)क2सा अिधकारी के पद स े संबंिधत, कॉलम 8 म,(cid:10) उससे संबंिधत *िविNय- के िलए,
िनIिलिखत *िविNय- को *ितOथािपत (cid:4)कया जाएगा, नामतः-
(i) (cid:4)कसी मा(cid:19)यता*ाQ िवRिवSालय से एम.बी.बी.एस. िडTी;

New Delhi, the 02nd January, 2020
G.S.R. 06(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 124, read with
sub-section (1) of section 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central Government
hereby approves the Kandla Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment
Regulations, 2020, made by the Board of Trustees of the Deendayal Port Trust erstwhile the Kandla Port
Trust as set out in the schedule annexed to this notification.3 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)
2. The said regulations shall come into force from the date of publication of this notification in the
Official Gazette.
SCHEDULE
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of
1963), the Board of Trustees of Deendayal Port Trust hereby makes the following regulations further to
amend the Kandla Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2009,
namely:-
1. (1) These regulations may be called as the Kandla Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority
and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of publication of the approval of the Central Government
in the Gazette of India.
2. In the Kandla Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2009, in
the Schedule,-
(a) against serial number 43, relating to the post of Chief Medical Officer, in column 8, for the
entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“(i) MBBS degree from a recognized University;
(ii) A postgraduate medical Degree or postgraduate medical Diploma from a recognized
University; and
(iii) post qualification experience of sixteen years in case of postgraduate medical degree holders
and eighteen years experience in case of postgraduate medical Diploma holders in a hospital”.
(b) against serial number 44, relating to the post of Senior Dy. Chief Medical Officer, in column 8,
for the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
(i) MBBS degree from a recognized University;
(ii) A postgraduate medical Degree or postgraduate medical Diploma in the specified speciality
from a recognized University; and
(iii) post qualification experience of ten years in case of postgraduate medical degree holders and
twelve years experience in case of postgraduate medical Diploma holders in the relevant field
of specialization in a hospital”.
