New Delhi, the 25th January, 2018
S.O. 403(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 29 of the Mahatma
Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 (42 of 2005), the Central Government being
satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to do so, hereby makes the following further amendments to
Schedule I to the said Act, namely:—
2. In the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005, in Schedule I,-
(a) in paragraph 4, in sub-paragraph (1), in item (II), for sub-item (iv), the following sub-item shall be
substituted, namely:-
“(iv) Unskilled wage component in construction of houses sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas
Yojana-Gramin or such other State or Central Government Scheme”;
(b) in paragraph 5, for item (i), the following item shall be substituted, namely:-
“ (i) the beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin”.
