ORDER
New Delhi, the 27th September, 2018
S.O. 4993(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with
sub-section (1) of section 16 of the Jute Packaging Materials (Compulsory Use in Packing
Commodities) Act, 1987 (10 of 1987), the Central Government hereby makes the following
amendment in the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Textiles, published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, sub-Section (ii), vide number S.O. 1024(E), dated
the 9th March, 2018, namely:—
In the said Order, in the Preamble, in paragraph 4, for the words, figures and letters “upto
30th June, 2018”, the words, figures and letters “upto 31st October, 2018 or until further orders,
whichever is earlier” shall be substituted.
