ख. खुंर् (i) और खुंर् (ii) के स्थान पर तनम्नललखखत खुंर् आ जाएुंगे, अथाडत,्- “(क) केन्द्रीय सरकार या ककसी राज्य सरकार द्वारा मान्द्यताप्राप्त ववश्वववद्यालय या सुंस्था से अथवा ककसी दसू रे देश के मान्द्यताप्राप्त ववश्वववद्यालय या सुंस्था या सुंघ (असोलसएशन) से स्नातक की डर्ग्री या उसके बराबर की कोई शैक्षखिक योग्यता (अहडता) अथवा सीएफए इुंक्स्िट्यूि की ओर से प्रदान ककया गया सीएफए िािडर, और राष्ट्रीय प्रततभूतत बाजार सुंस्थान (एन.आई.एस.एम.) से या एन.आई.एस.एम. द्वारा मान्द्यताप्राप्त ककसी अन्द्य सुंगिन या सुंस्था से हालसल ककया गया सुंबुंधित प्रमािपत्र; या (ख) एन.आई.एस.एम. से प्रततभूतत बाजार (अन सुंिान ववश्लेषि) [लसतयूररिीज़ माकेि (ररसि ड एनालललसस)] का पोस्ि ग्रेज एि प्रोग्राम या एन.आई.एस.एम. से ऐसा कोई अन्द्य प्रोग्राम, जो बोर् ड बताए ।” ii) उप-ववतनयम (2) हि जाएगा ।[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 iii) उप-ववतनयम (3) के स्थान पर तनम्नललखखत उप-ववतनयम आ जाएगा, अथाडत,्- “(3) इन ववतनयमों के तहत रक्जस्िर एकल (इुंडर्ववज अल) अन सुंिान ववश्लेषक, ‘एकल की श्रेिी में न आने वाले (नॉन-इुंडर्ववज अल) अन सुंिान ववश्लेषक’ के म ख्य अधिकारी (वप्रलुंसपल ऑकफसर), अन सिुं ान ववश्लेषक के तौर पर तनय तत व्यक्ततयों, अन सुंिान (ररसि)ड सुंबुंिी सेवाओुं से ज डे व्यक्तत और यठद अन सुंिान ववश्लेषक एक भागीदारी फम ड (पािडनरलशप फम)ड हो तो उसके भागीदारों (पािडनर) [जो अन सुंिान (ररसि)ड सुंबुंिी सेवाएँ प्रदान करने में ज िे हों] को, यथाक्स्थतत, मौजूदा प्रमािपत्र की मान्द्यता की अवधि समाप्त होने से पहले या रक्जस्रीकरि प्रमािपत्र प्रदान ककए जाने की तारीख से तीन वषों के भीतर एन.आई.एस.एम. का वह सुंबुंधित प्रमािपत्र कफर से हालसल करना होगा क्जसके बारे में बोर् ड द्वारा समय- समय पर बताया जाए, ताकक प्रमािपत्र से सुंबुंधित अपेक्षाओुं का सदैव पालन स तनक्श्ित होता रहे ।” II. पहली अन सूिी में, प्ररूप-क (फॉम-ड क) में, i) अन देश-2 में,- क. शब्दों तथा धिह्नों “आवेदक को यह प्ररूप (फॉम)ड पूरा भरना िाठहए, और इसे बोर् ड को इसके म ुंबई में क्स्थत प्रिान कायाडलय में समस्त समथकड दस्तावेजों के साथ” के स्थान पर शब्द तथा धिह्न “आवेदक को यह पूरा फॉम ड भरना होगा, और इसे सभी जरूरी दस्तावेजों के साथ अन सुंिान ववश्लेषकों का पयवड ेक्षि आठद करने के उद्देश्य से बोर् ड से मान्द्यताप्राप्त बॉर्ी (तनकाय) या बॉर्ी कारपोरेि” आ जाएुंगे; ख. शब्दों “प्रस्त त करना िाठहए” के स्थान पर शब्द तथा धिह्न “के पास प्रस्त त करना होगा या यठद ऐसी ककसी बॉर्ी या बॉर्ी कारपोरेि को मान्द्यता प्रदान न की गई हो, तो बोर् ड के पास प्रस्त त करना होगा” आ जाएुंगे । ii) मद-1 में, क) खुंर् (क) में, शब्द तथा धिह्न “फैतस सुंख्या (सुंख्याएँ),” हि जाएुंगे;4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] ख) खुंर् (घ) में, शब्दों तथा धिह्नों “सुंपकड व्यक्तत (व्यक्ततयों)” के बाद धिह्न तथा शब्द “, अन पालन अधिकारी (कुंप्लायुंस ऑकफसर) और म ख्य अधिकारी (वप्रलुंसपल ऑकफसर)” आ जाएुंगे । iii) मद-2 में, क) खंड (ख) में, शब्द ं “पते का सबूत” के स्थान पर शब् “पते के ब्यौरे” आ जाएँगे; No. SEBI/LAD-NRO/GN/2025/277.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 30 read with clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 11 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992), the Board hereby makes the following regulations to further amend the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014, namely: — 1. These regulations may be called the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Research Analysts) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2025. 2. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 3. In the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014 – I. In Regulation 7, i) in sub-regulation (1), a. after the words “engaged in research services” and before the words “shall have the following”, the words “or persons associated with research services” shall be inserted; b. clause (i) and (ii) shall be substituted with following, namely- “(a) A graduate degree or any equivalent educational qualification from a university or institution recognized by the Central Government or any State Government or a recognised foreign university or institution or association or CFA Charter from the CFA Institute, and relevant certification from NISM or from any other organisation or institution accredited by NISM; or (b) A Post Graduate Program in the Securities Market (Research Analysis) from NISM or any other program of NISM as may be specified by the Board.” ii) sub-regulation (2) shall be omitted. iii) sub-regulation (3) shall be substituted with the following, namely – “ (3) An individual registered as research analyst under these regulations, a principal officer of a non-individual research analyst, individuals employed[भाग III—खण्‍ड 4] भारत‍का‍राजपत्र‍:‍असाधारण 7 as research analyst, person associated with research services and in case of the research analyst being a partnership firm, the partners thereof if any, who are engaged in providing research services, shall obtain a fresh relevant NISM certification as specified by the Board from time to time before expiry of the validity of the existing certification or within three years from the date of registration certificate, as the case may be, to ensure continuity in compliance with certification requirements.” II. In First Schedule, in Form A, i) in Instruction 2, - a. after the words “supporting documents” and before the words “to the Board”, the words “to the body or body corporate recognised by the Board for the purpose of administration and supervision of research analysts or” shall be inserted; b. the words “at its head office at Mumbai” shall be substituted with the words and symbols “, if no such body or body corporate is recognized”. ii) in item 1, a) in clause (a), the words and symbols “fax number(s),” shall be omitted; b) in clause (d), the words and symbols “and e-mail of the contact persons(s)”, shall be substituted with the words and symbols “and e-mail of the contact persons(s), compliance officer and principal officer.” iii) in item 2, a) in clause (b), the words “address proof” shall be substituted with “details of address”; b) clause (d) shall be substituted with the following, namely – “(d) Number of persons associated with research services8 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] (Provide details thereof, including self-certified copies of supporting documents in respect of qualification for such persons associated with research services).”; c) clause (g) and clause (h) shall be omitted. iv) item 4 shall be substituted with the following, namely - “4.
