New Delhi, the 20th December, 2017
G.S.R. 1525(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 37 of the Apprentices
Act, 1961 (52 of 1961), the Central Government, after consulting the Central Apprenticeship Council, hereby
makes the following rules further to amend the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Apprenticeship (Sixth Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, in Schedule I, –
(i) in Group No. 2, relating to the Foundry trades group, for serial number 1 and the entries relating
thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely:—
