No. F. 05/29/16/L&B/ADMN/4216.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section
51 of “the Right of Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement
Act, 2013 (30 of 2013) read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, notification numbers S.O. 2740(E)
dated 21st October, 2014 and S.O. 2004(E) dated 21st July, 2015, the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital
Territory of Delhi is pleased to constitute the “Land Acquistion, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority”
consisting of Presiding Officer, for the purpose of providing speedy disposal of disputes relating to Land
Acquisition, Compensation, Rehabilitation and Resettlement of the affected persons due to the acquisition of land
under the provisions of the said Act.
The Land Acquistion, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority shall exercise the jurisdiction, powers
and authority conferred on it by or under the said Act to the area within the National Capital Territory of Delhi as
notified by the appropriate Government for entertaining and deciding the references made to it under section 64 or
applications made by the applicants under the second proviso to sub section (1) of section 64 of the said Act.
