sub-section (2) of section 25 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956), the Central
Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the University Grants Commission
Recruitment Rules, 2016, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the University Grants Commission Recruitment
(Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the University Grants Commission Recruitment Rules, 2016, relating to the
posts of Joint Secretary and Deputy Secretary, in column (8), for the entry, the following entry
shall be substituted, namely :-
