These rules, titled the "Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal Form, Verification and the Fee for filing an appeal Amendment Rules, 2018," take effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
The original rules were published under G.S.R. 296(E) on April 2, 2003.
The notification is issued under the authority granted by subsection 1 read with clause (da) of subsection 2 of section 35 of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, 1997 (24 of 1997).

Notification
G.S.R. 758(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub–section (1) read with clause (da)
of sub-section (2) of section 35 of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, Act 1997 (24 of 1997),
the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Telecom Disputes
Settlement and Appellate Tribunal Rule (Form, Verification and the Fee for filing an appeal) Rules,
2003, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal
(Form, Verification and the Fee for filing an appeal) (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) Tey shall cohme into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (Form, Verification and the Fee
for filing an appeal) Rules 2003,—
(a) in Rule 4,—
(i) for the words “in the form of demand drafts in favour of Drawing and Disbursing
Officer, Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal and payable at the
place of the Bench of the Appellate Tribunal”, the words “payable by way of e-
payment through the website of Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal
i.e. www.tdsat.gov.in or through the Non-Tax Receipt Portal at website
www.bharatkosh.gov.in” shall be substituted.
(b) in Form A, for para 11, the following shall be substituted, namely:—
“The particulars of e-payment of the fee—
(i) Amount
(ii) Transaction Reference No.
(iii) Date.”
