New Delhi, the 31st January, 2019
S.O. 702(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Indian
Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970), the Central Government, after consulting the Central
Council of Indian Medicine, hereby makes the following further amendments in the Second Schedule to the
said Act, namely:-
In the Second Schedule to the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970, in Part I relating to
“Ayurveda and Siddha”, under the heading “Uttar Pradesh”, against serial number 99,-
(i) against the entry “Doctor of Medicine (Ayurveda)” in column 2, for the entry “From 1977
onwards” in column 4, the entry “From 1977 to 2010” shall be substituted;
(ii) after the entries in columns 2, 3 and 4, the following entries in columns 2, 3 and 4 shall be
inserted, namely:-
