New Delhi, the 26th July, 2016
S.O. 2583(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Indian Medicine
Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970), the Central Government, after consulting the Central Council of Indian
Medicine, hereby makes the following further amendments in the Second Schedule to the said Act, namely:-
In Part - I of the Second Schedule to the said Act, relating to “Ayurveda and Siddha”, under the heading “West
Bengal”,-
(i) against serial number 117 and the entries relating thereto, the following entries in column (4) shall be substituted, and
shall be deemed to have been substituted, namely :-

“From 1st May, 2010 onwards,
subject to permission granted for admission by the Central Government to the following colleges,
namely:-
(i) J.B. Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, 170-172, Raja Dinendra Street,
Kolkata - 700 004, West Bengal;
(ii) Belley-Sankarpur Rajib Gandhi Memorial Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Post Kushdanga,
