New Delhi, the 21st February, 2019
S.O. 933(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Indian Medicine
Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970), the Central Government, after consulting the Central Council of Indian
Medicine, hereby makes the following further amendments in the Second Schedule to the said Act, namely:-
In the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970, in the Second Schedule, in Part- I relating to “Ayurveda and
Siddha”, under the heading “Punjab”, against serial number 88F, after the entries in columns 2, 3 and 4, the following
entries in columns 2, 3 and 4 shall be inserted, namely:-

“Ayurvedacharya BAMS From November 2019 onwards, if awarded to the
(Bachelor of Ayurvedic students who had been admitted with the permission of
Medicine and Surgery) the Central Government from the year 2013-14 onwards
in Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Amloh,
District-Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab.”.
