NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 31st December, 2015
G.S.R. 78(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) and (4) of section 26 of the
National Institutes of Technology, Science Education and Research Act, 2007 (29 of 2007), with the approval
of the Visitor, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the First Statutes of the
Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research, namely:-
1. Short title and Commencement
(1) These Statutes may be called the First Statutes of the Indian Institutes of Science Education
and Research (Amendment) Statutes, 2015.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the First Statutes of the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research, in Schedule ‘A’, in
paragraph (2), for the words and figures “the age of 65” the words and figures “the age of 70” shall be
substituted.
