NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th January, 2020
S.O. 244(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 4 of the Coir Industry
Act, 1953 (45 of 1953), read with rules 4 and 5 of the Coir Industry Rules, 1954, the Central Government
hereby appoints Dr. Vinay P. Sahasrabuddhe, Member of Parliament, Raiya Sabha to be a Member of the Coir
Board for a period up to 21st February, 2022 or till he ceases to be a member of the House whichever is earlier,
with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette and for said purpose,
makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Micro, Small and
Medium Enterprises, number S.O. 1019(E) dated the 22nd February, 2019, namely:-
2. In the said notification, in the table, before the entry “Appointed under clause (f) of sub-section (3)
of section 4,” the following shall be inserted, namely:-
“Appointed under Clause (e) of sub-section 3 of section 4:
1. Dr, Vinay P. Sahasrabuddhe, Member, Rajya Sabha, Bungalow No. 8, Ashoka Road,
