New Delhi, the 4th August, 2020
S.O. 3086(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 4 of the Coir
Industry Act, 1953 (45 of 1953), read with rules 4 and 5 of the Coir Industry Rules, 1954, the Central
Government hereby appoints Advocate Adoor Prakash and Shri Gowdar Mallikarjunappa Siddeshwara,
Members of Parliament, Lok Sabha to be Members of the Coir Board for a period up to 21st February, 2022
or till he ceases to be a member of the House whichever is earlier, with effect from the date of publication
of this notification in the official gazette and for the said purpose, makes the following amendment in the
notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise, number
S.O.1019(E) dated the 22nd February, 2019, namely :-
In the said notification, in the table, under Clause (e), after serial number 1 and the entries relating
thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be inserted, namely:-
“(2) Advocate Adoor Prakash, Member, Lok Sabha, 804, Narmada Apartment,
Dr. Bishambar Das Marg, New Delhi-110001 - Member;
(3) Shri Gowdar Mallikarjunappa Siddeshwara, Member, Lok Sabha, 19,
Gurudwara Rakab Gunj Road, New Delhi-110001 - Member .”
