In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 2 of section 13 of the Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 59 of 1973, the Central Government, after consulting the Central Council of Homoeopathy, hereby makes the following further amendment in the Second Schedule to the said Act,
This notification, S.O. 1465(E), issued by the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy, announces an amendment to the Second Schedule of the Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973. The amendment, effective April 18, 2016, adds Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, to the list of recognized institutions. Specifically, it recognizes the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.) degree granted by Gujarat University to students who graduated and completed their internship from Smt. Malini Kishore Sanghvi Homoeopathic Medical College, Karjan, Gujarat, during the period from June 2014 to June 2016. The amendment is made in exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 2 of section 13 of the Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 (59 of 1973), after consulting the Central Council of Homoeopathy. The principal notification was published as S.O. 76 dated December 20, 1973, and last amended by S.O. 1049(E) dated March 10, 2016.
