NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 26th May, 2017
No. F. 2/1/2016-AC/JSEXP/1098-1101.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of
the Constitution, read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notifications No. 27/59–Him/(I) and
F. 4/78/68-DH(S), dated the 13th July, 1959 and 24th September, 1968 respectively and in pursuance of Government of
India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training OM
No. AB. 14017/13/2016-Estt.(RR) dated the 9th August, 2016 and in consultation with the Union Public Service
Commission, the Lieutenant Governor of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, is pleased to make
the following rules to amend the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi Accounts Service Rules, 2012,
namely:
1. (i) These rules may be called the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Accounts Service
(Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(ii) They shall come into force with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Accounts Service Rules, 2012 (hereinafter referred as
the said rules) in rule-2, in clause “L” for the words “the Controller General of Accounts, Ministry of
Finance, Government of India or by any other Department of GNCT of Delhi on their behalf” the words
“the Principal Accounts Office, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi or any other
agency/department/commission on behalf of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi” shall
be substituted.
3. In rule 6 of the said rules, -
(i) in clause (A), for the words and figures “the pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 12,000-16,500 (PB-3:
Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.7,600)” the words and figures “Level-12: Rs. 78,800-2,09,200 in the Pay
Matrix” shall be substituted.
(ii) in clause (B), for the words and figures “the pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 10,000-15,200 (PB-3:
Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs.6,600)” the words and figures “Level-11: Rs. 67,700-2,08,700 in the Pay
Matrix” shall be substituted.
(iii) in clause (C), for the words and figures “the pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 8,000-13,500 (PB-3:
Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5,400) and Rs. 7,500-12,000 (PB-2: Rs. 9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay
Rs.5,400)” the words and figures “Level-10: Rs. 56,100-1,77,500 and Level-09: Rs. 53,100-1,67,800 in the
Pay Matrix” shall be substituted.
(iv) in clause (D), for the words and figures “the pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 7,500-12,000 (PB-2:
Rs. 9,300-34,800 + Grade Pay Rs. 5,400)” the words and figures “Level-09: Rs. 53,100-1,67,800 in the Pay
Matrix” shall be substituted.
(v) in clause (E), for the words and figures “the pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 6,500-10,500 or Rs. 7,450-
11,500, which were merged and upgraded to pre-revised scale of Rs. 7500-12000 (PB-2: Rs. 9,300-34,800 +
Grade Pay Rs.4,800)” the words and figures “Level-08: Rs. 47,600-1,51,100 in the Pay Matrix” shall be
substituted.
(vi) in clause (F), for the words “Controller of General of Accounts, Government of India or any other
