This notification, G.S.R. 568(E), issued by the Ministry of Textiles, amends the "Ministry of Textiles, Weavers Service Centres and the Indian Institutes of Handloom Technology, Group A and B Post Recruitment Rules, 2014." The amendment, titled the "Ministry of Textiles, Weavers Service Centres and the Indian Institutes of Handloom Technology, Group A and B Post Amendment Recruitment Rules, 2016," comes into effect on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette (June 1, 2016). Specifically, the amendment modifies the Schedule related to the post of Deputy Director (Processing) at serial number 4. It substitutes the words "Dyenting Master" with "Printing Master" under the "Essential" heading in column 7. G.S.R. 568 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution,
the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Textiles, Weavers’ Service Centres
and the Indian Institutes of Handloom Technology, Group- ‘A’ and ‘B’ Post Recruitment Rules, 2014,
namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Textiles, Weavers’ Service Centres and the Indian
Institutes of Handloom Technology, Group- ‘A’ and ‘B’ Post (Amendment) Recruitment Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Textiles, Weavers’ Service Centres and the Indian Institutes of Handloom
Technology, Group- ‘A’ and ‘B’ Post Recruitment Rules, 2014, in the Schedule, against serial number 4
relating to the post of Deputy Director (Processing), in column (7), under the heading ‘Essential’, for the
words “Dyenting Master”, the words “Printing Master” shall be substituted.
