NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th January, 2018
S.O. 273(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 16(1) of the Petroleum Rules, 2002, the Central
Government, in consideration of the necessity to import petroleum in public interest, hereby notifies Karaikal Port in the
Union Territory of Puducherry for importing petroleum into India by Sea for a period of five years from 27.12. 2017 to
26.12. 2022.
