This notification, dated October 20, 2017, issued by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, announces a postponement of the Chartered Accountants Intermediate IPC Examination, Group I, Paper 4 (Taxation) scheduled for November 9, 2017, at the Shimla center in Himachal Pradesh. The postponement is due to the General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh. The rescheduled examination will now be held on November 17, 2017, at the same venue and time (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM IST). Previously issued admit cards will remain valid for the new date. No.13-CA(Exam)/N/2017/II:—In partial modification of the Institute’s Notification No. 13-CA(Exam)/N/2017
dated 21st July, 2017, it is notified for general information that in view of the General Election to the Legislative
Assembly of Himachal Pradesh the Chartered Accountants Intermediate (IPC) Examination, Group – I, Paper – 4,
Taxation scheduled to be held on 9th November, 2017 at Shimla centre (In the State of Himachal Pradesh) stands

postponed and the examination in the said paper shall now be held on 17th November 2017 at the same venue and at the
same timing(s) i.e. 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM (IST). Admit Cards already issued would remain valid.
However, it is clarified that the schedule of examinations notified vide Notification No.13-CA(Exam)/N/2017 dated
21st July 2017 in respect of all other cities shall remain unchanged.
