jkt/kkuh {ks= fnYyh d s mijkT;iky d s uke o mud s vkn's kkuqlkj] iou deq kj] mi lfpo ¼xg` ½6 DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY PART IV] HOME (POLICE-I)/ESTABLISHMENT DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION Delhi, the 9th November, 2017 No.F.1/6/2016/HP-I/Estt./4049-4056.—In partial modification of this Government’s Notification F.No.1/6/2016/HP-I/Estt./4011 to 4018 dated 14th Oct., 2016, and in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Delhi Police Act, 1978 (34 of 1978) and clause (s) of section 2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi notification No. U-110011/2/74-UTL(i) dated the 20th March 1974, the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in order to facilitate extension of better police assistance to the public, hereby, is pleased to direct and declare as under:- (i) That Dwarka shall be a new separate and independent Police District in the National Capital Territory of Delhi after carving out the same from the existing South-West and Outer Districts from the date of issue of this notification; (ii) That the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall comprise of fourteen (14) Police Districts namely East District, North-East District, Shahdara District, South District, South-East District, Dwarka District, South- West District, West District, Outer District, North-West District, Rohini District, Central District, North District and New Delhi District.
