This notification, issued by the Government of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi on July 5, 2019, and published in the Delhi Gazette on July 8, 2019, outlines the salary and allowances for the Chairperson and part-time Members of the Commission for Other Backward Classes (OBC). Delhi, the 5th July, 2019
F. No. 28(18)/2017-18/DSCST/Plg/Vol-I/8253-65.—In pursuance of Clause 14 of the notification
No. F. 28(93)/91-92/SCST/P&S/109 dated 20th, April, 1993 , vide which the Commission for Other Backward
Classes of the National Capital Territory of Delhi was constituted by the Lt. Governor of NCT of Delhi, and
Cabinet decision No. 2600 dated 17-07-2018 , the Government is pleased to regulate the salary and
allowances payable to Chairperson and part-time Members of the Commission for Other Backward Classes of
the National Capital Territory of Delhi as under wef: 17-07-2018.
“Consolidated salary of the Chairperson shall be Rs.2,00,000/- ( Two Lakh only) per. month without
allowance and in addition, the Chairperson shall be entitled to a car and house ( or HRA as applicable as per
rules). The Part-time Members shall be entitled for a monthly amount of Rs.1,00,000/- (one Lakh only)
consolidated without allowances . Other terms and conditions of the service of the Chairperson and Part-time
Members shall be such as may be prescribed".
