NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 27th November, 2018
No. F.4300/02/2013-NSDA.—In pursuance of the power conferred upon the National Skill Qualification
Committee (NSQC) vide Notification No. 8/6/2013-Investment dated 27th December 2013 issued by the Ministry of
Finance (Department of Economic Affairs), Government of India on National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF)
and based upon the recommendations of Committee on Assessment and Certification Bodies (CACB) constituted vide its
Office Order No. Office Order No. 43001/02/2013/NSDA/III(Pt.3)/953 dated 25th October 2018 for the purpose of
assessing the capacity and capabilities of Skill Universities, the Centurion University of Technology and Management,
(CUTM) Gajapati, Odisha is hereby approved and recognised as an Awarding Body, from the date of issue of this
Notification, for the purpose of assessment and certification of all NSQF compliant training courses including
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) as well as for trainers and assessor certification courses. Assessment and
Certifications shall be done in accordance with approved norms and standards as prescribed for a particular NSQF
compliant scheme or schemes being implemented within India.
2. Opening of new off campus Centres (Non-franchise) by CUTM would need to be reported to the appropriate
Competent Authority while prior approval would be required to be taken in case of opening of any franchise centres.
