New Delhi, the 4th March, 2020
G.S.R. 160(E).—In pursuance of the provisions of section 7 of the Aadhaar (Targeted
Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (18 of 2016) read with
section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897), the Central Government hereby rescinds the
notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Defence (Department of Ex-Servicemen
Welfare) issued vide number G.S.R. 747(E), dated the 3rd March, 2017, published in the Gazette of
India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), dated the 6th March, 2017, except as respects
things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
