No. DD/15/W/INF/10/BOD/112/13.—In terms of the provisions of Section 21A(3) of the Chartered
Accountants Act, 1949 [as amended by the Chartered Accountants (Amendment) Act, 2006], read with Rules
14(9) and 15(1) of the Chartered Accountants (Procedure of Investigations of Professional and Other
Misconduct and Conduct of Cases) Rules, 2007, Shri Gopal Ramnath Naik (Membership No. 031905),
Chartered Accountant, 52, Sarvodaya Charity Trust Building, Golkhale Road – South, Dadar,
Mumbai - 400 028 has been held guilty of ‘Other Misconduct’ falling within the meaning of Clause (2) of
Part IV of First Schedule to the aforesaid Act, by the Board of Discipline which ordered that the name of
aforesaid Shri Gopal Ramnath Naik (Membership No. 031905) be removed from the Register of Members for
a period of one (1) month. In pursuance thereof and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of
Section 20 of the aforesaid Act, read with Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, it is
hereby notified that the name of said Shri Gopal Ramnath Naik (Membership No. 031905) shall stand
removed from the Register of Members for a period of one (1) month with effect from 2nd May, 2016.
