Delhi, the 14th January, 2019
F. No. 8/2/2015/L&B/LA/8232.—In the exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the Right
to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Social Impact Assessment
and Consent) Rules, 2014, read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affair’s Notification No. S.O. 2740(E)
dated the 21st October 2014, and S.O. 2004 (E) dated 21st July, 2015, the Lieutenant Governor of National Capital
Territory of Delhi, is pleased to assign the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCEAR), Parisila Bhawan,
11, I.P. Estate, New Delhi-110002 which was identified as Social Impact Assessment Unit vide notification No.
F. 8/2/9/2015/L&B/LA/2373 dated the 13th June, 2017, to carry out social impact assessment study and to prepare
Social Impact Assessment report for acquisition of land which the Delhi Jal Board, Government of National Capital
Territory of Delhi intends to utilize for public purpose at Milan Garden and Saboli Gaddha in Gokalpur Assembly
Constituency for construction of Lift Stations for providing, laying and jointing 250 mm diameter to 710 mm diameter
Internal sewer line in colonies of constituencies, part of Gokalpur in Zone-III, Yamuna Vihar waste Water treatment
plant Catchment area in Delhi.
The National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCEAR), Parisila Bhawan, 11, I. P. Estate,
New Delhi-110002 shall carry out the social impact assessment study as per the provision of the Right to Fair
Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 within a period of six
months from the date of issue of this notification.
