NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 14th January, 2019
F. No. 8/2/2015/L&B/LA/8243:—In the exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of section
4 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013
(30 of 2013) read with sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,
Rehabilitation and Resettlement Rules, 2014, read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affair’s Notification No.
S.O.2740(E) dated the 21st October, 2014, and S.O. 2004 (E) dated the 21st July, 2015, the Lieutenant Governor of
National Capital Territory of Delhi, intends to acquire the land for Delhi Jal Board at Milan Garden and Saboli Gaddha in
Gokalpur Assembly Constituency for public purpose for construction of Lift Stations for providing, laying and jointing
250 mm diameter to 710 mm diameter Internal sewer line in colonies of Constituencies, part of Gokalpur in Zone-III,
Yamuna Vihar Waste Water Treatment Plant Catchment area in Delhi. These lift stations are required to pump out the
sewerage into internal sewer system for onward discharging at Yamuna Vihar Sewage Treatment Plant regarding
treatment which would control the direct outfall of sewerage into river Yamuna. The land to be acquired for this purpose
is 38.85 Sq. meter of Khasra No. 11/2 and 2/23. The National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCEAR) has
been declared for commencement as Social Impact Assessment Unit to carry out social impact assessment study in
relation to aforesaid land vide Notification No. 8/2/2015/L&B/LA/8230-40 dated 14.01.2019.
Further, the main objectives of Social Impact Assessment are consultation with stake holders and Public, Survey
and public hearing wherever required. The time period for Social Impact Assessment report and (Social Impact
Assessment report and Social Impact Management Plan) will be six months from date of issue of this notification and
same will be disclosed by the way of websites, posters, leaflets and public hearing as the case may be at the conspicuous
places in effective areas, and in the office of District Collector, Shahdara.
