406 o -f the Merchant shipping Act, 1"958 $a of 195g), read with section 21 of the General
Clauses Act, 1897 (L0 of L8g7l, the Centrat Government hereby rescinds the notification of
the Government of lndia in the then Department of Transport (now Ministry of ports,
shipping and waterways), published vide s.o. L767 dated 27th May,1963, except as
respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
