It has been decided that the Directorate will follow the unified circular numbers for all
circulars issued by the Directorate.
2. The practice of issuing separate circulars in the name of the respective branches is
being discontinued and all the Circulars shall be named as DGS Circular with a number in
sequence. Same process to be followed for DGS Orders and MS Notices also.
3, This system is put in place, for avoiding any confusion/ambigu ity in sea rch ing/finding
the same by the stakeholders and for an ease of business.
