NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th June, 2026 S.R.O. 8(E)— In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (2) of section (1) of Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026 (8 of 2026), the Central Government hereby appoints that the amendments to the Works of Defence Act, 1903 (7 of 1903) mentioned in column (5) of Schedule to the said Act, against the serial number 5 mentioned in column 1 of the said Schedule, shall come into force from the date of publication of this notification.
