The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority. * **Probation:** Direct recruits are subject to a probation period of 2 years, with mandatory induction training of at least two weeks. * **Recruitment Method:** The recruitment method is 100% direct recruitment. Deputation from Central Government officials is possible under specific circumstances (vacancy due to long absence of incumbent). * **Disqualification:** Persons with more than one living spouse are ineligible for appointment. * **Relaxation Power:** The government retains the power to relax any provision of these rules for any class or category of persons. * **Saving Clause:** The policy respects existing reservations and age relaxations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Ex-Servicemen, and other special categories. * **Departmental Confirmation Committee:** Includes high-ranking officials such as the ACS Home/Principal Secretary Home/Secretary Home, Principal Secretary Services/Secretary Services, Deputy Secretary GAD (Services), and the Director of the concerned vertical. * **Promotion:** Laboratory Assistants (Physics) are eligible for promotion after completing 5 years of service. **6. Target Audience and Stakeholders:** The primary target audience and stakeholders include: * Individuals seeking employment as Junior Scientific Assistant (Physics) in the Forensic Science Laboratory, Delhi. * The Forensic Science Laboratory, Government of NCT of Delhi, specifically its human resources and recruitment departments. * The Departmental Confirmation Committee. * Government agencies involved in recruitment and personnel management. **7. The recruitment process will likely follow standard government procedures, including advertising vacancies, conducting examinations/interviews, and verifying qualifications. The crucial date for determining the age limit will be as advertised by the Competent Authority. * **Deputation:** Deputation is possible with a maximum age of 56 years on the closing date of application and meeting the specific qualification requirements. **8.
