CHENNAI PORT TRUST Chennai Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2015 (RRC/10254/2009/GA) No. SRO C-26/2016.—The following Notification GSR No. 631 (E) dated the 14th August 2015 issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Shipping and published in Part II Section 3 sub-section (i) of the Extraordinary issue of the Gazette of India, dated 14th August 2015 is republished hereunder as required under Section 132(2) of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963:- G.S.R. No. 631 (E)—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 124, read with sub-section (1) of Section 132 of the Major Ports Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central Government hereby approves the Chennai Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations 2015 made by the Board of Trustees for the Port of Chennai and set out in the Schedule annexed to this Notification. 2. The said Amendment Regulations shall come into force from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette. SCHEDULE Chennai Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority And Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2015 In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Board of Trustees of the Port of Chennai hereby makes the following Regulations further to amend the Chennai Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2008 as amended from time to time. 1. Short Title and Commencement:- (i) These Regulations may be called as Chennai Port Trust Employees’ (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2015. (ii) They shall come into force from the date of publication of the approval of the Central Government as required under the provisions of Sections 124 and 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 in the Gazette of India. 2. In the Chennai Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2008, in the Schedule, in the EDP Wing under Finance Department.- (i) For the post of Assistant Director (EDP) at Sl. No. 1, the entries under column (9) shall be substituted as under:- “(a) No (b) Yes. However, in the case of incumbents holding the post of Programmer/Data Processing Officer / Class-III posts in EDP/ P&R Division on 07.01.2009 on regular basis and having graduation in any discipline and Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications / Computer Science / Information Technology from Recognized Universities / Institutions will suffice. (c) No” (ii) For the post of Deputy Director (EDP) at Sl. No. 2, the entries under column (9) shall be substituted as under:- “(a) No (b) Yes. However, in the case of incumbents holding the post of Assistant Director (EDP) on 07.01.2009 on regular basis and having graduation in any discipline and Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications / Computer Science / Information Technology from Recognized Universities / Institutions will suffice. CHIDAMBARANAR PORT TRUST, TUTICORIN RECRUITMENT RULES OF CLASS III & IV STAFF Amendment to the Schedule II of Tuticorin Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Sixth Amendment Regulations, 2016 (S-3/03/2015-E.I) No. SRO C-27/2016.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of Section 124, read with sub-section (1)(a) of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963) the Board of Trustees, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Trust hereby approves the revised manner of recruitment (Recruitment Rules) for Class III and IV posts under Regulation 5 of Tuticorin Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2008 as set out in the Schedule annexed to this Notification. 2. The said Recruitment Rules shall come into effect from the date of publication of this Notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette. SCHEDULE (1) In the said Schedule under Regulations, the Recruitment Rules for the post of Tug Master Gr.I (A) (Marine) (Sl.No.47), the provisions under Column No. 7 shall be substituted by “45 years”. (2) In the said Schedule under Regulations, the Recruitment Rules for the post of Tug Master Gr.I (B) (Marine) (Sl.No.48), the provisions under Column No. 7 shall be substituted by “45 years”. (3) In the said Schedule under Regulations, the Recruitment Rules for the post of Tug Master Gr.II (Marine) (Sl.No.49), the provisions under Column No. 7 shall be substituted by “45 years”. (4) In the said Schedule under Regulations, the Recruitment Rules for the post of Serang (Marine) (Sl.No.50), the provisions under Column No. 7 shall be substituted by “40 years”. (5) In the said Schedule under Regulations, the Recruitment Rules for the post of Driver Gr.I (A) (Marine) (Sl.No.51), the provisions under Column No. 7 shall be substituted by “45 years”.
