GENERAL NOTIFICATIONS Variation to the Modified Master Plan for the Kancheepuram Local Planning Area (Roc.No:1226/2025/K.D-2) No.VI(1)/469/2026.
1. In exercise of the power conferred of Tamil Nadu Town & Country Planning Act 1971 and in exercise of powers confirmed by the G.O.Ms No.94 Housing & Urban Development, dated 12.06.2009 which has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.27, Part II—Section 2, Page - 228 dated:15.07.2009.
2. Land use zone conversion from Agriculture Use Zone into Residential Use Zone ordered in G.O. No.236, Housing and Urban Development [UD 4(CLU-1)] department dated:07.08.2026, the following variation are made to the Modified Master Plan of Kancheepuram local Planning Authority approved under the said act and published in the G.O. (Ms) No.139, Housing and Urban Development Department, dated 10.05.2002, Notification No.21, at page No.310 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 29.05.2002.
Variation In the Kancheepuram Modified master plan under the heading permitted land use in various survey numbers of Kancheepuram Local Planning Area under heading in Village No.26 Putheri Village Page No.73 the following entries should be made.
VI. AGRICULTURAL USE ZONE: instead of expression Survey Nos.15 to 20, S.No.15, 16, 17 (Except 17/2), 18 (Except 18/2), 19, 20 shall be substituted
1) a) PRIMARY RESIDENTIAL ZONE: After Survey No.14, Survey Nos.17/2, 18/2, substituted before Survey No.21 Kancheepuram, B. PUSHPARAJI, 25th September 2026. Deputy Director / Member Secretary (i/c), Kancheepuram Local Planning Authority, District Town and Country Planning.

1. In exercise of the power conferred of Tamil Nadu Town & Country Planning Act 1971 and in exercise of powers confirmed by the G.O.Ms No.94 Housing & Urban Development, dated 12.06.2009 which has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.27, Part II—Section 2, Page - 228 dated:15.07.2009.

No.157/2026.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 11 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Act No.46 of 2023), the High Court hereby appoints the following (i) 8 Deputy Tahsildars in Madurai District,
(ii) 8 Deputy Tahsildars in Coimbature District, (iii) 8 Deputy Tahsildars in Salem District and (iv) 2 Deputy Tahsildars in Ariyalur District as Special Judicial Magistrates, to undergo Magisterial Training for a period of 120 days from the date of assumption of charge and confers upon them the ordinary powers conferable under the Sanhita on a Judicial Magistrate to try such cases which were earlier triable and dealt with by an erstwhile Judicial Second Class Magistrate.
