(cid:315)(cid:175)ೇಷ (cid:170)ಾಜ(cid:205) ಪ(cid:294)(cid:206)(cid:144)ೆ ¨sÁU À– 4ಎ , 11 , 2020 ( , 20, ಶಕವಷ(cid:143), ೧೯೪2) . 680 Part –IV A BENGALURU, FRIDAY, 11, DECEMBER, 2020 ( MARGASHIRA, 20, SHAKAVARSHA, 1942) No. 680 GOVERNMENT OF KARNATAKA FCS 99 RPR 2020(E-Office) Karnataka Government Secretariat Vikasa soudha Bengaluru, Dated:11.12.2020 NOTIFICATION The draft of the following Order further to amend the Karnataka Essential Commodities Public Distribution System (Control) order 2016, which the Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 read with section 5of the Essential Commodities Act 1955 (Central) Act 10 of 1955), Sub section (5) of section 24 read with section 40 of sub section (1) of the National Food Security Act, 2013 (Central Act 20 of 2013) the Government of Karnataka hereby make the following Order is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) of section 40 of the said Act for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration after fifteen days from the date of its publication in the official Gazette. Any objection or suggestion, which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said before the expiry of the period specified above will be considered by the State Government Objections and suggestions may be addressed to the Principal Secretary to Government , Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department. Title and commencement.-(1) The Order may be called the Karnataka Essential Commodities Public Distribution System (Control) (Amendment) Order, 2020. 2. It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. (1)R.N.I. No. KARBIL/2001/47147 POSTAL REGN. No. RNP/KA/BGS/2202/2017-19 Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 297 2 3. Amendment of clause 13. In the Karnataka Essential Commodities Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016, in clause 13, for the proviso the following proviso shall be substituted, namely. “Provided that, the authorized authority may order for such transfer in the events of death of the authorized dealer before sixty years of age. Provided further that, the person has no other source of income, to the;- i. Spouse; less then sixty years of age: or: ii. Unemployed son: above the age of eighteen years: or: iii. Unmarried daughter above the age of eighteen years: or: iv. Widowed daughter above the age of eighteen years. having passed 10th standard or equivalent examination as on the date of the death of the authorized dealer. The applicant shall apply for such transfer within ninety days of the death of authorized dealer. Such transfer shall be made only after obtaining prior approval of the Commissioner. Food, Civil Supplies and consumer Affairs Department and only for maximum period of ten years i.e two validity period of a fresh authorization, no further renewal is allowed for such transfers after the completion of two validity period.
