NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (n) of sub-section (2) of section 28 of the Legal Services Authorities Act,1987 (Central Act 39 of 1987) read with clause (h) of section 12 of the said Act and section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (Central Act 10 of 1897) and in consultation with Chief Justice of the High Court of Karnataka, the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following Rules further to amend the Karnataka State Legal Services Authorities Rules, 1996 namely:- RULES 1. Title and commencement:- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka State Legal Services Authorities (Amendment) Rules, 2020. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the official Gazette. 2. Amendment of Rule 11:- In the Karnataka State Legal Services Authorities Rules, 1996 in rule 11 for the words, figures, brackets and punctuation "Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh)" the words, figures brackets and punctuation "Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees three lakh)" shall be substituted.
