No. LAC/C/2020/09277228/490—In the exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (2) of section 16 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Act, 2013, the draft Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme has been prepared under section 16 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Act, 2013, for families affected with the proposed acquisition of land bearing Khasra No. 186 total land measuring (170 Sq. Mtr. (0.017 hectares) of Village Jaipuria Mills, Kolhapur Road, Dilli Patti village of Sub Division Civil Lines in District Central for public purpose, namely for the MRTS project Phase-IV starting from Janak Puri West to R.K. Ashram Corridor at Jaipuria Mills Kolhapur Road for the construction of the overground exit of the Subzi Mandi / Ghanta Ghar Underground Metro Station the same is being published under rule 7 (5) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Compensation Rehabilitation and Resettlement and Development Plan) Rules 2015. Preface: - Vide Preliminary Notification No. F.NO. LAC/C/2020/09277228/377-389 dated 01.04.2024 issued by District Magistrate (Central), Govt. of NCT, the land bearing Khasra No. 186 total land measuring (170 Sq. Mtr.) of Revenue Estate of Village Jaipuria Mills, Kolhapur Road, Dilli Patti village of Sub Division Civil Lines in District Central was notified for acquisition u/s 11 (1) of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Act, 2013 for MRTS project Phase-IV starting from Janak Puri West to R.K. Ashram Corridor at Jaipuria Mills Kolhapur Road for the construction of the overground exit of the Subzi Mandi / Ghanta Ghar Underground Metro Station. Vide above notification, Additional District Magistrate (Central) was appointed as the Administrator under sub section (1) of Section 43 of the said Act for Rehabilitation & Resettlement of affected families due to acquisition of the said land as mentioned above. As per section 16 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation & Resettlement Act, 2013, Draft Rehabilitation & Resettlement Scheme is to be prepared by the Administrator. Upon the publication of the preliminary notification under sub-section 1 of section 11 by the Collector, Central, a joint survey u/s 16(1) was carried out on 14/05/2024 regarding census of the affected families, particular of land and immovable properties, structures, trees, infrastructure facilities and utilities etc. of land bearing Khasra no. 186 and public hearing was done on 16.05.2024. In respect of public hearing notice, one of the interested persons appeared and submitted his reply vide Diary no. 10933 wherein he stated that there is no family displacement in this acquisition. Further, as per Final SIA report, all the six landowners are not directly dependent on the land for their livelihood. The rental income drawn from the one part of the land, which has been currently leased out for commercial purposes to the HDFC Bank Sabzi Mandi Branch, is a critical source of income for three landowners.
