NOTIFICATION
No. FTC-1419/C.R.4/IX .—Whereas, vide Government notifications referred above at Sr. No. 5
and 7 retired Judicial Officers were appointed on contractual basis to the temporary posts of Extra
Joint District and Additional Sessions Judge [Exclusive / Designated POCSO Court / Fast Track
Special Court] at respective stations mentioned against their names in the said notifications :
And whereas, Hon’ble High Court vide letter referred above at Sr. No. 7, has recommended to
extend the tenure of following serving retired Judicial Officer.
Now therefore, the Government of Maharashtra in consultation with Hon’ble High Court of
Judicature at Bombay, hereby appoints the following retired Judicial Officer mentioned in column
(2) of the schedule shown below on contractual basis to the temporary post of Extra Joint District and
Additional Sessions Judge at Exclusive/Designated Special POCSO Court / Fast Track Special Court,
under the scheme of Setting up of Fast Track Special Courts under ‘National Mission for Safety of
Women’, at respective station named against his name in column (3) of the schedule.

The Hon’ble High Court has been pleased to extend the tenure of agreement of abovesaid serving
retired Judicial Officer viz. Shri Rajaram P. Pande, mention in above table for upto attaining his age
of 65 years i.e. upto 7th November 2025 or till regular Judges are appointed or until further orders,
whichever is earlier.
On appointment as Extra Joint District and Additional Sessions Judge, the above Retired Judicial
Officer shall be entitled to pay and allowances as per the provisions mentioned in the Government
Resolution dated 17th December 2016 referred above at Sr. No. 6, provided that the expenditure is
within sanctioned budgetary provisions as approved in the Government Resolutions referred above
at Sr. No. 1, 2 and 3.
