Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice, Shastri Bhawan is observing Special Campaign for

Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM). The Special Campaign 5.0 starts from 2 October, 2025 to 31
October, 2025. This year, the campaign will focus on the disposal of e-waste such as unserviceable or
discarded computers, laptops, printers, LEDs, e-display boards, etc., as well as liquidating pendency in the
MPs References, References from the State Governments, Inter-Ministerial References, Parliamentary
Assurances, PMO references, Public Grievances and PG Appeals, etc. The campaign also places emphasis on
record management, review and weeding out of physical records and ensuring overall cleanliness of
government offices, digitization of records/files with a special focus on space management and enhancing
the workplace experience in field offices. As part of the Special Campaign 5.0. The Legislative Department
is committed itself ensuring the objectives of the Special Campaign 5.0 are effectively met by taking up
targeted activities by reducing pendency, disposing of redundant materials, and improving record
management systems.
