In his message, Shri Birla said: “Nand ke ghar anand bhayo jai ho Brajpal ki, jai ho Brajpal ki, jai Kanhaiya lal ki, haathi ghoda palki, jai Kanhaiya lal ki … Heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the people of the country on the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, celebrating the birth of Lord Shri Krishna.
The devotion and love for our revered Lord Shri Krishna are boundless among his countless devotees in India and across the world. The enchanting childhood pastimes of Kanhaiya have been so captivating that lovingly calling him Kanha and Kanhaiya fills the heart with joy and affection. Every mother wishes to shower her children with the same unconditional love and affection that Mother Yashoda bestowed upon Krishna.
Lord Shri Krishna showed us the realities of life. The profound wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, which Shri Krishna imparted to Arjuna on the battlefield of the Mahabharata, offers timeless guidance on duty, ethics, justice, wisdom, courage, and balance in life. This message has remained a guiding light for humanity for centuries. The Bhagavad Gita is regarded as the soul of India’s philosophical tradition.
Shri Krishna teaches us that no matter how difficult the circumstances may be, the person who stands firmly with truth and righteousness ultimately emerges victorious.
On the auspicious occasion of the birth celebration of Shri Krishna—Govind, Hare Murari, Hey Nath Narayan, Vasudeva—I pray that every home be blessed with happiness and peace, every heart be filled with faith, and every life be infused with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
On Janmashtami, I pray that the blessings of Lord Shri Krishna always remain upon all devotees. May our nation and society continue to move forward on the path of truth, justice, and humanity.
