During his visit on January 20 to the Uttar Maharashtra and Gujarat Sub Area (UM & G S), the General Officer was extensively briefed on the Sub Area’s preparations for wartime and peacetime roles besides the Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief operations, welfare programmes for ex-servicemen, civilian tours of Sitabuldi Fort, and other ongoing initiatives. The General Officer chaired the Military Civil Fusion (MCF) Conclave, which drew participants from various civil departments, NDRF, industry and academia wherein he engaged with senior dignitaries.
