Delhi is pleased to enhance the honorarium of Anganwadi Workers, Anganwadi-cum-Creche workers and Anganwadi
Helpers as under:-
a. Enhancement of honorarium of Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi-cum-Creche Workers from Rs.5,000/- per
month to Rs.9678/- per month of which Government of India’s share will remain the same at Rs.1800/- per
month. Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi’s share will increase from Rs.3200/- per month to
Rs.7878/- per month.
b. Enhancement of honorarium of Anganwadi Helpers from Rs.2500/- per month to Rs.4839/- per month (payable
@ 50% of honorarium being paid to Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi-cum-Crèche Workers) of which
Government of India’s share will remain the same at Rs.900/- per month. Government of National Capital
Territory of Delhi’s share will increase from Rs.1600/- per month to Rs.3939/- per month.
This enhancement will be effective from the date of Notification.
